Youth Artist Competition — Tampa Fine Art Show (Feb. 27–28, 2027)

A youth art competition held during the Tampa Fine Art Show for students in grades 6–12 or ages 9–19. Entries are publicly displayed, and each show offers $250 in discretionary awards: $100 for Best of Youth Art and three $50 Youth Art Awards of Excellence, with each winner also receiving a ribbon.

Applicants must be in grades 6–12 or ages 9–19 for this show; proof of age may be required. Each student may enter up to two original, personally handmade and unaided artworks. The fee is $3 per artwork per selected show. The online form requests up to two images per entry in JPEG, JPG, PNG, or WEBP format; the individual form states a 10 MB maximum file size. The published rules also instruct applicants to mail printed copies of the artwork, payment, and application together, labeling each image with the artist's name, title, size, dimensions, completion date, and work name and writing the show city and date on the envelope. Flat work must be ready to hang with a wire. Artwork must be delivered to the event check-in area Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., remain for the entire event, and be picked up by 5 p.m. Sunday or it becomes show-management property. A parent, guardian, or art teacher and the youth artist must sign. Applications are due 10 days before the show. Awards are discretionary rather than guaranteed participant compensation.
