Women's Studio Workshop — Artist's Book Residency Grant

An eight- to ten-week residency for artists producing a limited-edition artist’s book in the Women's Studio Workshop studios. The grant provides a $350 weekly stipend, up to $1,000 for materials, up to $250 for US travel, free on-site housing, technical support, and 24/7 studio access. Completed books enter collections at more than 450 institutions. Applications open August 1, 2026, and the residency takes place the following September–June.

Artist’s books and photobooks

Open to FLINTA and women artists. The residency lasts eight to ten weeks and requires the artist to produce an edition of 50–100, printing and binding their own books in WSW's studios. Applications may include up to 10 images. An outside jury of artists and curators selects participants.
