Windgate Artist in Residence — Fall 2027 and Spring 2028

UA Little Rock's semester-long Windgate Artist in Residence program is open to artists, designers, and craftspeople. Residents receive a $30,000 stipend, housing, a $2,000 materials and travel budget, private studio space, and access to wood, ceramics, jewelry and metalsmithing, foundry, photography, and printmaking facilities. Residents make work, hold open studios, engage students, present talks, lead a two-day workshop, and donate one work to the university collection. Full-consideration applications are due August 23, 2027.
