Wesleyan Artist Market 2027 - Professional Artist Application

A juried application for professional and emerging artists to participate in the 29th annual Wesleyan Artist Market at Wesleyan School. Approximately 85 professional artists will be selected for the two-day market, with artists retaining 70% of their sales and the Wesleyan Arts Alliance retaining 30% to support the school’s Fine Arts Program.

Professional artists, including emerging artists, may apply. The application must include a bio of no more than five sentences; links to the artist’s website and all social platforms; six high-resolution digital images of at least 300 dpi, including a booth shot and artist bio photo when available; and the $40 nonrefundable application fee. Applicants without a booth or bio shot may submit artwork photos instead. Submitted images must currently and consistently represent the work intended for exhibition. All displayed work must be original, designed and produced by the exhibiting artist, offered for sale, and suitable for a family-oriented, G-rated show. Selected artists owe a $140 booth fee, must provide an inventory log by April 8, 2027, must set up at Wesleyan School, and must ensure the artist or a representative is present throughout the market. Artists may not share a booth unless applying as a two-person collaborative practice; artists presenting separate, non-collaborative work may not apply together. Wesleyan may use submitted images, website or social-media images, and market photographs for publicity. Artists retain 70% of sales while the Wesleyan Arts Alliance retains 30%; the same 30% host commission applies to work commissioned during the show or sold or commissioned within 45 days afterward. Artists are responsible for Georgia sales tax, liability insurance, and coordinating customer packaging and shipping. Artists may not bring their own booth, panels, or tent and must comply with the supplied booth/table configurations and display restrictions.
