WeDirectory Best Projects & Websites Award 2026

A worldwide award recognizing creative projects, individual talents, and independent creative brands through their public websites or social media portfolios. WeDirectory evaluates visual impact, clarity, and how effectively the digital portfolio represents the creator or project. The top three winners receive cash prizes, and all 100 winners receive a limited-edition printed collection book featuring the winning websites.

Applicants must have a public digital portfolio—a website or social media account—that authentically represents their practice and body of work. The call reviews both individual talents and creative brands. Listed application materials are application forms and artwork/portfolio. Listed artistic fields include applied arts, architecture, curating, dance, design, digital, drawing, education, fashion, film, installation, interdisciplinary work, painting, performance, photography, printmaking, public art, research, sculpture, social practice, sound art, textiles, video, visual arts, and writing. Evaluation considers visual attractiveness and art direction; UX/UI and navigation for websites; concept and purpose, including business concept and positioning for brands and project focus and creative direction for individuals; content quality; originality and creative impact; and performance and mobile experience. Application fees are $59 from 1 June through 31 October 2026 and $69 from 1 November through 31 December 2026. There are no participation or additional fees. First place receives $5,000 USD, second place $2,000 USD, and third place $1,000 USD, plus Shortlist and Longlist prizes. Seven shortlisted winners receive a personal interview published in the Journal, a spotlight across social channels, a month-long homepage feature, and Longlist prizes. Ninety longlisted winners receive a W Card feature on the winners page and a limited-edition printed book showcasing the winning websites. All 100 winners receive the printed collection book.
