Wake Forest Holiday Artisans Market

Wake Forest, NC

AFT Curated

The opportunity

A juried outdoor holiday market for artists and skilled artisans to sell original artwork and handcrafted items at Wake Forest Town Hall. The market is scheduled for December 5, 2026. The page contains conflicting application deadlines—September 1, September 25, and September 26, 2026—and states that late applications may be accepted at the Market Team's discretion.

Requirements

Participation is limited to artists and skilled artisans, and all merchandise must be original work created by the exhibiting artist or artisan. Each artist may submit one entry. The submission requirements state 5–7 pieces, a maximum file size of 500MB per image, and JPG, PDF, or PNG files. The application checklist requests a completed EntryThingy application, the $10 non-refundable application fee, a valid North Carolina Sales Tax ID, five digital images of at least 100 KB each (four product images and one booth image if available), a brief description of the work and creative process, and website or social-media links if applicable. Artists applying outside the jewelry category who plan to sell jewelry must submit jewelry images for separate jury review. A valid North Carolina Sales Tax ID is required. Individual 10' x 10' outdoor booths cost $65; shared booths cost $35 per artist or artisan, and each shared-booth participant must apply and be juried separately. Artists must attend their booths throughout market hours, provide their own tent, tables, chairs, coverings, displays, and weights, keep displays within the assigned space, and handle setup, maintenance, breakdown, sales transactions, and applicable sales taxes. Booths must be set up by 9:45 a.m.; vehicles must leave the unloading area by 9:30 a.m.; breakdown cannot begin before 4:00 p.m.; and all booths and merchandise must be removed by 5:00 p.m. Application and booth fees are non-refundable. Submission includes liability release, indemnification, and permission for the organizers to photograph or record the event and use the material for promotional, educational, fundraising, archival, and marketing purposes without additional permission or compensation. The page gives conflicting application dates: September 1, September 25, and September 26, 2026. It also says late applications may be accepted at the Market Team's discretion, with late applicants placed on a waitlist.
