Artists may offer works for sale, with no museum commission.

About this call

Collage exploring visible and invisible boundaries that define, separate, connect, and sometimes divide us.

Requirements

Submitting artists must reside in the USA and be at least 18 years old. Submit up to three original collage artworks: $25 for one entry, $35 for two, or $45 for three. The online submission deadline is midnight Sunday, November 29, 2026; the listing specifies 12:00 AM PST. Artwork must be no larger than 40 inches in either direction; diptychs and triptychs count as one work. Unframed works are accepted with clips, magnets, or alternative hanging systems. Include a brief artist statement of no more than 200 words describing the creative process and ideas informing the work. Images must be JPG, under 4 MB, and in sRGB colorspace; at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi is recommended for best results. Received work must accurately match the submitted images. Jurying uses the online images, all juror decisions are final, and notifications are sent by email from Online Juried Shows. Shipping instructions conflict: several provisions require UPS and agreement to ship via UPS, while one provision says shipped accepted works must arrive via US Postal Service by Friday, January 15. Confirm the carrier with the organizer. Hand delivery is permitted between noon and 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 14 or Friday, January 15 at 10 Wardwell Street, Bristol, RI 02809. Include a prepaid return label with the original packaging. Hand-delivered work must be picked up Monday, April 5, between noon and 3 p.m.; artwork cannot be stored beyond the exhibition. Museum insurance covers artwork in the building, not in transit. Sales are negotiated directly between artist and collector; the Museum takes no commission and supplies collectors with artist contact information. Cash Awards: TBA.
