The PASEO 2027 Biennial

An outdoor nighttime festival in Taos Historic District seeking fully realized, immersive, site-responsive and/or participatory projects for its 2027 Convergence theme. Selected artists receive scope-dependent stipends, travel, lodging, shipping, installation assistance and equipment coverage, plus an artist fee set to W.A.G.E. standards.

Convergence

Open to emerging, mid-career and professional artists over age 21 worldwide. Work must be immersive, site-responsive and/or participatory, suitable for outdoor viewing after dark, and already fully realized; new commissions and undeveloped concepts are not funded. Artists must be present from sunset to 11pm on both festival nights. The application requires 3–5 images. Applicants may also propose adult or youth workshops, lectures and forums, but these are invited rather than required. The entry fee is $25 and is waived for Taos County residents. Standard projects receive $500–$3,000 stipends; larger works receive $5,000–$15,000 depending on scope and impact. Travel, lodging, shipping, installation assistance and equipment are covered, and an artist fee is set to W.A.G.E. standards.
