The Hopper Prize

The Hopper Prize is accepting entries for its Fall 2026 international visual-artist grants. Two selected artists will each receive an unrestricted $4,500 grant, four will each receive an unrestricted $1,000 grant, and 30 artists will have their work archived on the Hopper Prize website. Selected submissions may also receive Instagram and journal exposure.

Open to artists worldwide who are age 18 or older and work in any media, with no restrictions on genre, subject matter, or media. Applicants must submit their name and email, up to 10 image or video attachments, and artwork captions; an Instagram username, artist statement, and biography are optional. The submission fee is $40. Awards are conditional: two artists will each receive $4,500 and four artists will each receive $1,000; the grants are unrestricted and may be used as recipients choose.
