The Holidays of 2026

A Fine Arts League of Cary members-only holiday-season exhibition at The Mayton comprising a 12-by-12-inch seasonal or holiday-themed lobby montage and an opportunity to submit additional 2D work for the first-floor hallways. Exhibited work must be offered for sale, with a 25% commission retained by the league.

Open only to Master Artists of the Fine Arts League of Cary. Each Master Artist should submit at least one 12” x 12” lobby work and may submit up to four additional works for hallway consideration. Lobby submissions must be oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel paintings on 12” x 12” unframed gallery-wrapped canvas or a similarly sized substrate and must not be wired. Hallway submissions may be any 2D artwork, including painting, photography, collage, mixed media, pastel, and pen and ink; 3D work, sculpture, crafts, and other decorative arts are ineligible. Hallway size limits vary by display location as listed in the prospectus. Work must be the artist’s original creation. Art reproductions, giclées, art prints, copies, mechanical reproductions, molds, and kit work are ineligible. Electronically generated and digitally manipulated work is restricted as stated in the prospectus; original photography and wholly artist-created digital elements are allowed under the stated conditions. Upload an original, high-quality JPEG/JPG showing only the artwork, correctly oriented and without visible frame, mat, glass, or background. Images should be at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge, use sRGB for best results, and must not exceed 30 MB. Artwork must be family appropriate, labeled on the back with the artist’s name, phone number, and email, and offered for sale; FALC receives a 25% sales commission. The artist retains copyright but grants FALC use of submitted images for publicity, future event promotion, and archival purposes. The $35 entry fee is nonrefundable and must be paid by the deadline; incomplete entries are disqualified, and entries cannot be accepted or changed afterward.
