State of the South Convening Call for Artists

MDC and Casey Family Programs, in partnership with The Annie E. Casey Foundation, invite visual and performance artists located within driving distance of Atlanta to submit existing work or an illustration proposal for the State of the South convening, taking place October 27–29, 2026. Existing-work participants receive a $750 stipend, while the commissioned illustrator receives $2,500. The submission deadline is August 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
