About this call

Festive, joyful, fabulous, magical, and spectacular: color, sparkle, celebration, winter, lights, parties, nostalgia, humor, glamour, and wonder.

Requirements

Open to artists ages 18+ who live or work in Michigan. Artists outside Michigan may be considered case by case, provided work can be dropped off and picked up in person; if shipping is the only option, the artist must pay all associated costs. Submit 1–3 pieces, with only one entry per artist. The non-refundable $35 entry fee covers up to three images and is processed through Square. Selection is curated by Élevé Art Gallery; some or all submitted work may not be displayed.

Work must be original, in its original form, independently completed without instruction, completely dry and finished, suitable for all ages, and offered for sale. Artwork previously shown at PARC is ineligible. No AI or generative AI artwork is accepted. Eligible original forms include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and original digital illustration. The call permits photographs, original digital illustrations, etchings, and relief prints as exceptions to its no-prints rule. Original digital illustrations may be professionally printed and presented as finished artwork when the digital file is the artist's original creative work. Giclée prints, fine-art prints, posters, and other reproductions of existing paintings, drawings, photographs, or other artwork are ineligible. Availability of prints of an exhibited original may be noted on its label. The gallery may decline submissions to maintain a safe, family-friendly venue.

Provide finished/framed dimensions as width x height x depth. 3D work must be freestanding, weigh no more than 100 lbs, and be no taller than 40 inches. 2D work must weigh no more than 40 lbs and be no wider than 60 inches; it must hang with a wire, with no plastic-covered wires, clips, or saw-tooth hangers. It must be professionally framed and/or have finished or painted edges, with no visible nails or staples on unframed work. Label the back with artwork title and artist name/contact information.

Upload crisp, high-resolution photographs, tightly cropped to show only the artwork, taken straight on without side or angle shots. The source specifies a maximum of '1200 dpi on longest side.' Image filenames must include the artist's last name and artwork title. Accepted files are JPG or PNG, no more than 50MB per image. Do not click SUBMIT until all images are uploaded; submissions without crisp, high-resolution images will not be selected.

Submission deadline: October 25, 2026. Acceptance notification: October 27, 2026. Artwork drop-off: November 3, 2026, 10am–12pm. Exhibition: November 9, 2026–January 4, 2027. Reception: November 19, 2026. Artwork pickup: January 5, 2027, 3pm–6pm. All dates and times are subject to change. Venue: PARC - Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex, 650 Church St., Plymouth, MI 48170.

Élevé Art Gallery handles all sales and takes a 50% commission. Supply artist name, artwork title, medium, dimensions (width x height x depth), and price for each piece; prices must account for the 50/50 split. Buyers normally cannot take purchased work until the exhibition ends. Early removal may be allowed case by case if the artist can replace the sold piece, as determined and coordinated by Élevé Art Gallery.

The gallery will take reasonable care, but PARC, PARC Art Gallery, Élevé Art Gallery, and their associated members, volunteers, and others connected with the exhibition are not responsible for loss or damage. Submission waives rights to losses or damages; artists are responsible for insuring their work.
