SOMETHING NEW: October 2026 Open Call

Thirdplat invites artists, writers, makers and interdisciplinary creators worldwide to respond to SOMETHING NEW: what a new presence in their life, community or practice changed and left behind. Original and respectful submissions are published directly, rather than juried, in the October 2026 online exhibition and remain in Thirdplat’s public cultural archive. The platform offers public presentation, an artist profile and a shareable link.

Open worldwide to artists, writers, makers and interdisciplinary creators working across any medium and different career stages. Welcomed forms include moving image, photography, writing, craft, sound, performance and cross-disciplinary work. Responses may be personal, social, documentary, fictional or experimental, but must engage clearly and thoughtfully with the theme. Submissions are published directly subject to standards for originality, respect and appropriate content; published works remain in the public archive after the open-call period. Listed application materials are Project Description, Application Forms, Artist Statement, Artwork / Portfolio and CV. No application, participation or additional fees.
