Small Works - Morini Gallery

Morini Gallery at Mass Arts Center invites submissions for its annual holiday-season Small Works juried exhibition in Mansfield, Massachusetts, November 28, 2026–February 7, 2027. The exhibition accepts two-dimensional work in all mediums except photography, no larger than 20 inches in either direction including framing. All work must be for sale. The juror selects 35 pieces initially and 10 additional pieces for optional Juried Next Tier participation as sold works are replaced.

Small works for the annual holiday season

Submit 1–3 pieces in one entry per artist. The non-refundable $35 fee covers up to three entries and must be paid by credit card; no checks. Submission images must clearly represent the originals, be of excellent quality, and use JPG, PDF, or PNG format, with a maximum file size of 50MB per image. Eligible work is two-dimensional, excluding photography, and must not exceed 20 inches vertically or horizontally, including the frame. All entries must be the artist's original creations; no prints, copies, or reproductions will be hung. Work must not have been previously exhibited at Morini Gallery. All work must be for sale; the gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. Artists may optionally donate all proceeds to the organization. Accepted work must be gallery-ready. Canvases 1/2 inch thick or less should be framed. Frames must be appropriate and in good condition; heavy or ornamental frames are not allowed. Clean-line, simple frames in typical neutral colors are recommended. Frames must be wired approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the way down from the top; no kick stands or saw tooth hangers. Work should not be visibly dated on the front; no wet paint. Curators may exclude work that does not meet presentation specifications, and the gallery may exclude work inappropriate for general audiences. Artists retain copyright, but selected exhibitors grant Mass Arts Center permission to use selected images on social media, its website, and printed promotional materials. Artwork must be hand-delivered, with no shipping, November 19 or 20, 2026, 10:30am–3:30pm, to 888 S. Main Street, Mansfield, MA; the gallery entrance is at the rear. Work must remain throughout the exhibition or until sold. Pickup is February 8 or 9, 2027, 10:30am–3:30pm. Work unclaimed 90 days after the scheduled pickup date becomes a donation to Morini Gallery. Mass Arts Center is not responsible for loss or damage. After selecting 35 pieces, the juror selects 10 additional Juried Next Tier pieces; those artists may be contacted sequentially as works sell and may hand-deliver their selected piece if it remains available. Juried Next Tier participation is optional, and notification may occur later than initial acceptance notifications. There is no artists reception.
