Eligible work is limited to 2-D media such as painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, and mixed media; photography and digital media are excluded. Each work must be no more than 192 square inches, excluding its frame, and must be framed and wired for hanging; gallery-wrapped canvases are prohibited. Delivery must be by hand. Works must be for sale, may not be marked NFS, and may be priced no higher than $1,200; the MAC Center retains a 35% sales commission. Entry costs $25 for the first two works and $10 for each additional work, up to five total, and fees are non-refundable. Applicants must submit original, high-quality JPEG/JPG images showing only the artwork, without visible matting, frames, or background; images should use sRGB, be at least 1,500 pixels on the longest edge, and be no larger than 30 MB. Entries must be complete, submitted, and paid by the deadline. Conditional awards are $250 for first place, $150 for second, $100 for third, and $150 for Peoples’ Choice.
