Requirements

Applicants must be age 18 or older and must live, work, study, or maintain a studio in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Artists must complete M-NCPPC’s one-time online vendor registration; new vendors must have a completed and signed W-9 ready to upload, obtain a five-digit supplier number, and follow up with the named administrative specialist. Artists may submit no more than three original 2D or 3D artworks. Reproductions and AI-generated artworks are prohibited, and works previously displayed in the Prince George’s County Juried Exhibition are ineligible. Submission images must be high quality and sufficiently detailed; there are no artwork-size restrictions. A biography, artist statement with current contact information, and a work list giving title, medium, date, dimensions, and price are required. Artists must transport accepted work to and from Brentwood Arts Exchange and deliver it labeled, ready to hang, and appropriately presented; sawtooth hangers and riveted D-rings are not accepted, while framed works and canvases require screwed D-rings and wire. Work that differs significantly from submitted images or is not installation-ready may be rejected. Accepted work must remain on display for the full exhibition. The organizer may conditionally purchase juror-recommended works. Consigned art is insured for 75% of its sale value while in the venue’s custody, and M-NCPPC retains a 25% commission on sales; sold work cannot be removed before the exhibition closes.
