Season of Wonder: Art Inspired by Beauty, Curiosity, and Joy

A members-only, juried all-media exhibition at the San Antonio Art League + Museum exploring beauty, curiosity, awe, reflection, and joy. The exhibition runs November 22–December 18, 2026. All exhibited works must be offered for sale; the artist receives 60% of the sale price and SAAL+M retains 40%.

Season of Wonder

Applicants must be current San Antonio Art League + Museum members. Artists may submit up to three original works completed after December 1, 2024; works must not have appeared in previous SAAL+M exhibitions or have been completed under instruction or in direct association with a class or workshop. The call welcomes painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, glass, mixed media, and other media. The source initially states that work should not exceed 24 x 30 inches overall, including framing; it separately limits 3D work to 18 x 18 x 18 inches and 25 pounds, while a later accepted-work section says hanging 2D or 3D work may not exceed 72 inches high, 50 inches wide, or 50 pounds. Two-dimensional work must be securely ready to hang, and three-dimensional work must be stable, self-supporting, and safe for public display. Entries require high-quality JPEG images plus each work's title, medium, dimensions, and price; images must be either 300 dpi and no larger than 5 MB or 72 dpi with the larger dimension at 1800 pixels. The non-refundable fee is $25 for one to three works. All exhibited work must be priced and available for sale; SAAL+M retains 40% and the artist receives 60%. Accepted work must be hand-delivered November 14–15, 2026, and unsold work picked up December 19–20, 2026.
