Route 7 Review Submission Period

Route 7 Review, established in 2013 and published by Utah Tech University, welcomes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art from writers and artists worldwide for its online publication. Submissions are free, and all submitters will receive an acceptance or decline notice by December 15, 2026.

Open to writers and artists residing anywhere in the world. Previously published work is not accepted. Eligible forms are poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art. There is no submission fee. The captured Creative Nonfiction submission form specifies that written submissions use 12 pt. Times New Roman, one-inch margins, double spacing, and .doc, .docx, or .pdf files. That form permits no more than one document per submission, up to 5,000 words, and only one piece per writer per submission period. Submissions are accepted and reviewed through Submittable. All submissions will receive notice of acceptance or decline by December 15, 2026.
