Ray and Nancy Loeschner Art Competition

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park's 2026 competition invites artists working in two-dimensional formats. Winning entries will enter the Meijer Gardens permanent collection and may be displayed or reproduced with full artist credit.

Artwork inspired by Meijer Gardens

Open to artists age 18 or older working in a two-dimensional format. Artists inspired by Meijer Gardens are encouraged to submit original artwork, but visiting Meijer Gardens is not required; artists may work on-site or use photographs and videos for inspiration. Winning entries become part of Meijer Gardens' permanent collection, will be displayed, and may be reproduced—for example as posters or note cards—with full credit to the artists.
