RAL 12th Regional Juried Photography Exhibition

A regional juried photography exhibition at the Rehoboth Art League’s Corkran Gallery, running January 8–February 7, 2027. The exhibition has no theme and accepts traditional through contemporary photographic subjects and styles. Juried awards are $500 for first place, $250 for second place, and $150 for third place; these conditional awards are not guaranteed participant compensation. Exhibited work must be offered for sale, with artists receiving 65% of sales proceeds.

Open only to artists living in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, or Washington, D.C.; both RAL members and non-members may apply. Applicants may submit up to three works, and only online entries are reviewed. Images must be the applicant’s own work and must have been created no earlier than January 2025. Work made in a school, school-monitored studio or workshop, under instructor supervision, or copied from another person is ineligible. Human-controlled digital editing is allowed, but generative AI may not be used to create image elements. All work must be for sale, remain available throughout the exhibition, and never have been displayed at the Rehoboth Art League. There are no size limitations. Submission attachments must be under 4 MB and no more than 1920 pixels on the longest side. The non-refundable registration fee is $25 for RAL members and $45 for non-members. First-, second-, and third-place awards are $500, $250, and $150 respectively. RAL retains 35% of each sale; artists receive 65%. Accepted work must be wall-hung ready with wire, with no saw-tooth hangers; the Exhibitions Director must be alerted in advance about other hanging requirements or frames larger than 2,400 square inches. Accepted work must be shipped or delivered to the Rehoboth Art League by December 31, 2026; shipped work must include a return label. Artists bear packing, shipping, insurance, handling, and return costs and risks. Unless the Exhibitions Director is notified at submission, applicants grant RAL permission to use submitted images for promotional purposes while retaining copyright and receiving image credit.
