Peep Space 2027 Exhibition Open Call

Peep Space invites artists, artist groups, and independent curators to propose solo or group exhibitions for its Main Gallery or Back Room in Tarrytown, NY. Selected exhibitions will run for 4–5 weeks during 2027. The artist-run space provides gallery space, regular hours, promotion, and curatorial and installation support. Proposals may include any medium reasonably accommodated within the gallery, including video and sound.

Open to artists and curators age 18 and older, including individual artists, artist groups, and independent curators. Solo and group proposals are welcome; work must reasonably fit the gallery. Exhibitions last 4–5 weeks during 2027. Submit an exhibition proposal describing the project, participating artists, and its presentation at Peep Space. The proposal instructions inconsistently state both a 500-word maximum and '(300 words max)'; Back Room applicants should address the specific space. Include 1–10 images of proposed or representative work; video or sound applicants may submit up to three samples of up to two minutes each. Supply a corresponding image list with artist name, title, medium, dimensions, and year; participating artists' names and websites/Instagram accounts, if applicable; and a preference for Main Gallery, Back Room, or either. Final placement is determined in conversation with selected artists and curators. Selected artists/curators are responsible for transportation or shipping both ways, installation and deinstallation with Peep Space assistance, and coordinating participating artists for group exhibitions. Peep Space retains 40% of artwork sales. The submission fee is pay-what-you-can, $20–$40; applicants unable to afford it may request a waiver at peepspaceny@gmail.com. Pay through Venmo @peepspace or Zelle peepspaceny@gmail.com and include the name used on the application. Notification is in December 2026.
