Open Call for Visual Artists in Northwest Michigan - Solo Exhibition at Delamar Traverse City

K/P Cultural and The Delamar Traverse City invite regional visual artists to submit work for the Delamar Traverse City Artist Series. Two artists will be selected for separate solo exhibitions in the hotel's Main Hallway in 2027, each on view for approximately 12 weeks. The space welcomes international, regional, and local visitors.

The call invites visual artists in Northwest Michigan. Two artists will be selected for solo exhibitions scheduled February 1–April 25, 2027, or May 3–August 8, 2027; these are alternative exhibition periods, not one continuous exhibition. Exhibitions are on view for approximately 12 weeks. The artist's presence at their opening reception, hosted by the Delamar, is required. Selected artists may work on site (plein air) before and during the exhibition if desired. Artwork will be selected for technical skill, conceptual strength, and innovation within its medium. Priority will be given to artwork relevant to the Delamar's audiences and offering a taste of the creative energy and inspiration of Northwest Michigan. Submissions will be juried by K/P Cultural and members of the Delamar staff. Entry is free.
