Miami International Airport Capital Improvement Program Call to Artists

Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department request qualifications from professional visual artists and artist-led teams for public art commissions associated with Miami International Airport's Capital Improvement Program. A pool of approximately 30-40 artists will be shortlisted for project-specific proposal opportunities across airport modernization sites. Shortlisted artists will receive a proposal stipend and travel allowance as needed.
Requirements
Open to local, national, and international professional visual artists or artist-led teams with a record of collaboration. Submit 10 samples of completed work, a CV or resume, a brief artist statement, and professional references; do not submit concepts or renderings for unfinished projects. Artists must be available for required in-person participation. Commissioned artists outside South Florida may be required to engage a locally based representative. Collaborative applications must use work samples and credentials attributable to the collaborative as a whole.
