Life Framer — Travel

Life Framer's October travel-photography competition seeks images exploring landscapes, people, and cultures near or far. Michael Yamashita judges the round. The first-prize winner receives $2,000 from a $24,000 annual fund shared among twelve monthly winners; each month's first- and second-prize images are exhibited in galleries worldwide.

Travel: the world's landscapes, people and cultures

Open to photographers age 18 or older. Landscape, travel, portraiture, reportage, street, and aerial work is eligible, including new or archived images. Analog and digital photography, including phone photography, is accepted. Editing, mixed media, collage, and compositing are permitted only when photography remains central; AI-generated imagery is prohibited. Entry costs $20 for one image, $30 for three images, $40 for six images, or $100 for a twelve-month membership permitting up to ten images in every monthly theme.
