The opportunity
Juried application for the Kensington Art Fair at Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan, running May 29–31, 2027. The outdoor show is limited to about 100 booths and focuses on original artist-made work offered for sale. Emerging artists may apply, and accepted artists are responsible for booth, insurance, display, attendance, and related participation requirements.
Requirements
Artist applications require four images, including a booth shot, and no more than two applications may be submitted. Work must be original, created by the applying artist, available for sale, and shown only in the accepted medium and styles. Artists must provide their own tent and display; each tent corner requires at least 40 pounds of weight, and staking is prohibited. Booth sharing is permitted only when every participating artist has been juried and accepted and prior arrangements are approved. At least one listed artist must be present, and the booth must remain open during all event hours. Artists must collect and remit Michigan sales tax, carry at least $1 million in liability coverage with the specified certificate holders, and authorize promotional use of their name, likeness, and representative work. Reproductions may occupy no more than 25% of a booth, must derive from the artist’s original work, and must be clearly labeled; limited original stickers, buttons, magnets, coasters, or notecards may occupy about a 2-by-2-foot display area. Mass-produced work, kits, commercial molds, copyrighted or trademarked imagery, and work made substantially with AI are ineligible. Jewelry, fiber, photography, prints, and digital work are subject to the stated medium-specific restrictions; candles, soaps, and fragrances are not accepted. The application fee is tiered: $25 through December 31, 2026, then $30. Accepted artists pay $525 for a 10-by-10-foot booth, $775 for a 15-by-10-foot booth, or $975 for a 20-by-10-foot booth; corner spaces add $125, while electricity requires advance reservation and payment. One vehicle pass is included per booth; additional passes and required insurance may create extra costs. Cancellation refunds decline according to the stated schedule and may be unavailable close to the event or when weather reduces show hours. Integrity Shows uses a three-year jury system under which artists are guaranteed space for three years if they apply by the deadline and follow the rules.
