The annual fair is a fundraising event for the Art Association of Jackson Hole and welcomes applications from emerging artists.
Requirements
Submit six images, including a required booth shot. Up to two applications are permitted; each application must represent only one medium and proportionately reflect the work intended for exhibition. Applying in more than one medium requires separate applications, each with a $45 non-refundable application fee. For blind jury review, artist and business names must not appear in the artist statement, artwork images (including signatures), booth image, or individual image descriptions; names may be covered with a block of color or blur. Violations may result in disqualification. A required artist statement of no more than 500 words must identify the medium, processes or techniques, explain how work is produced, disclose employees/apprentices/assistants and their roles when more than one, and disclose outside sources such as foundries or printing labs. Art must be entirely designed, created, and exhibited by the applying artist. No reproductions, buy/sell, unlimited editions, or mass-produced work are allowed. Acceptance notifications are scheduled for March 26, 2027; invited artists must accept and remit booth fees by April 9, 2027. Booth options: $450 single 10' x 10'; $500 single large 10' x 10'; $950 double wide 20' x 10'; $1,000 double wide large 20' x 10'; $1,200 premium double wide large 20' x 10'; $550 premium large 10' x 10'; $600 premium 10' x 10'. Large booths have two sides open to the public. Booth assignments are first-come, first-served from acceptance through Eventeny; selection and payment are processed through Eventeny, with a mailed-check option to avoid credit-card processing fees. Failure to respond by the deadline may revoke the invitation. Setup is Thursday, July 22. No driving on the lawn; artists must transport booths, displays, and work from street parking using non-motorized carts, wagons, or dollies, and follow assigned unloading/registration times. Staff and volunteers cannot assist with unloading, setup, or teardown. Artists provide their own outdoor tents, booths, racks, and tables. Tents and displays must withstand inclement weather; tents must be weighted with at least 40 pounds per leg and/or staked, with straps securing tents to weights or stakes. Power is extremely limited; generators are prohibited. Artists arrange their own accommodations and trailer parking; the nearby garage cannot accommodate tall or oversized vehicles, RVs, or trailers. Inability to secure accommodation does not qualify for a refund. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or mail and incur a 10% booth-fee administrative charge; the stated refund policy gives a 90% booth-fee refund for cancellations March 26–April 9, 2027, and no refund after April 9. The page's general-information section retains an application window and event dates for 2026, conflicting with the explicit 2027 Dates & Deadlines; it directs applicants to the organizer's artist-opportunities page for up-to-date deadlines.
