Issue 09: Witness | Call for Submissions

Tendon Magazine seeks poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art engaging with the theme of witness for Issue 09. The call invites particular attention to witness in medicine and care and in relation to broad arcs of time, welcoming work that responds to, challenges, complicates, or reimagines the meaning of witness. The captured application form provides instructions for poetry submissions.

Eligible forms named in the call are poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art engaging with witness. For the poetry application: poems may be in any form; prose poetry and hybrid forms are welcome. Submit 1–4 poems totaling up to 10 pages. If submitting multiple pieces, include all poems in a single Word document or PDF. Include page numbers and your last name on every page. Submissions are accepted and reviewed through Submittable. The captured form supplies poetry instructions only, not submission specifications for the other named forms.
