Requirements

Entries must be original 2D or 3D works completed solely by the artist within the past three years. Up to six works may be entered. Image-generative-AI work, reproduced artwork, and work exhibited in MFA’s Virtual Gallery within the last three years are ineligible. Files must be uploaded through artcall.org and may not exceed 10 MB. Video applicants must provide a video link and upload a still frame; accepted video artists must deliver the file on a thumb drive. Submitted images must correspond to the actual work. Accepted work cannot be withdrawn before the event ends. MFA may use images of accepted work for promotional purposes, with attribution wherever possible. Fees are tiered: one or two entries cost $30, and up to four additional entries cost $4.50 each; fees are non-refundable, and member discounts require current MFA membership. Work must be for sale or marked Price on Request. Only artists in the contiguous 48 United States may set a price; other artists must use Price on Request. Artists retain 80% of sales, or 85% for MFA members, and are responsible for fulfillment. MFA asks artists to donate 20% from sales resulting from direct MFA referrals within three months.
