The opportunity

A funded residency for emerging and established artists whose practice engages with the environment, climate issues, and the natural world. The selected artist will live and work on Nantucket, create work informed by its ecological landscape, engage with the community, and contribute to public dialogue around environmental stewardship. Support includes a $3,000 stipend, $500 for travel expenses, three weeks of housing, a private studio, and an exhibition at AAN’s Champion Gallery. The page describes both a month-long program and three weeks of residence, and gives conflicting residency years.
