Double Vision

A juried exhibition of diptychs and paired objects whose components are in conversation with one another. At least $500 in total prizes will be distributed among Best of Show and media-category awards. Accepted works must be offered for sale as pairs, and Carlisle Arts Learning Center retains a 35% commission.

Diptychs and paired objects that are in conversation with each other

Open to U.S. artists working in any 2- or 3-dimensional medium. Each diptych or pair counts as one entry, and artists may submit up to two entries. Images may show the pieces together or separately; separate images must be clearly labeled with the pair's title. Artists with specific display arrangements should provide display notes and, where possible, an image of the intended arrangement. The nonrefundable fee is $20 for CALC members and $35 for non-members; artists prevented from participating by the fee may contact CALC to request a waiver. Accepted pieces must be displayed and priced as pairs, although separate-work pricing may be supplied for patrons upon request. All works must be for sale, and CALC retains a 35% commission. The minimum $500 total prize amount is distributed conditionally among Best of Show and media-category awards and is not guaranteed participant compensation.
