An online student design competition in which entrants respond to a hypothetical client scenario by designing wood furniture or case goods within specified constraints using CAD and rendering software.

Open to eligible middle-school and high-school students in grades 6–12 and post-secondary students in the United States and Canada. Entrants must be no older than 35 as of December 31, 2026. Eligible entrants include full-time degree-, diploma-, or certificate-seeking students in accredited programs focused on woodworking, architecture, design, engineering, or a related area, as well as part-time degree- or certificate-seeking post-secondary students transitioning into a related field. Students need instructor support, and their schools must register online before entries are submitted. People earning their living or substantial income in a related career are ineligible. Submissions must be in English, and students and teachers must sign and submit a release verifying that the entry is the student's work.
