Crowns of Princeton — Arts Festival & Exhibition

Point Pleasant Publishing's one-day experimental arts festival at The Solley Theatre at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts in Princeton, New Jersey, welcomes artists internationally working in any artistic practice, including moving-image, performance, and 2-D/3-D visual art. The festival takes place February 20, 2027, from 11am–4pm. Participating artists receive a free PDF of a comprehensive print and digital exhibition catalogue containing curatorial essays and professional photography.

Open to all artists internationally working in any form of artistic practice, including performance and moving-image. Pay the required $24 application donation using the supplied Square donation link or alternative PayPal link, then email a CV, 5 image samples or video-stills, and an online portfolio to editor@pointpleasantpublishing.net with 'Crowns of Princeton' in the subject line. No additional required fees beyond the $24 donation. The organizer's direct application instructions give January 1, 2027 as the deadline; the Artwork Archive submission channel separately lists October 21, 2026 at 11:59PM America/New York and a submission limit of 3 pieces. Moving-image projects will be presented on a professional large projection display. Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 36 inches by 36 inches; framing is not required, but works must be presentable. Free-standing installations may be any size provided their contents are not heavy. Live and documented performances are welcome. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 24 by 24 by 24 inches or weigh more than 15 pounds. Printing options at reasonable costs are available to selected artists who prefer not to ship works. Artists keep 100% of sales and may optionally donate 10% of sales to Point Pleasant Publishing. Selected applicants will be notified no later than January 5, 2027 and must confirm participation by email no later than January 12, 2027. Physical drop-off is by appointment at least one week before the exhibition; pickup is at the end of the exhibition or by later appointment. Shipped artworks must arrive no later than February 12, 2027, with a return shipping label included. The listed award consists of a physical exhibition in Princeton, a comprehensive published catalogue, and exposure; participating artists receive a free PDF catalogue.
