About this call
Dreams, sleep, and the subconscious
Requirements
Open only to AAWS members. Each artist may submit up to three artworks for a flat, nonrefundable $20 fee, paid online by credit card by the deadline; only the first 50 entries will be accepted. No piece may exceed 50 inches horizontally, 48 inches vertically including its frame, or 35 pounds. Two-dimensional work must be professionally framed with wire and ready to hang; alligator hangers are prohibited. Canvases must be framed or gallery wrapped without visible staples or unpainted canvas, wet paint is not accepted, and works on paper must be protected by glass or Plexiglas. Because this is a family venue, nudes and offensive subjects are excluded. All types of 2D fine-art media are accepted; 3D work may be considered only if it can hang securely on a wall and is approved. Work must be the exhibitor's original idea, created by the exhibitor, completed within the past three years, and not previously shown in an Every Corner Gallery exhibit unless it reflects this theme. Mass-produced reproductions of paintings or drawings are excluded; hand-pulled prints, original digital prints, and photographs are acceptable. Artwork must be hand delivered and picked up in person at the designated times; no shipped or return-shipped work is accepted, late work is not accepted, and the organizer cannot store artwork. Work may be for sale or NFS; artists set prices, receive 70% of sales, and AAWS retains 30%. Submitted photographs may be used for promotion and displayed in the online Virtual Gallery. Application images must be original high-quality JPEG/JPG files, preferably sRGB, cropped to show only the artwork, correctly oriented, high resolution, at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge, and no larger than 30 MB. Entries may be edited until October 27, 2026; entries cannot be accepted or changed afterward, and incomplete entries will be disqualified. The organizer and venue will take reasonable precautions but disclaim responsibility for loss or damage.
