Chain of Parks Art Festival 2027
Tallahassee, FL
The opportunity
A juried, two-day outdoor fine art exhibition and sale in Tallahassee, Florida, on April 17–18, 2027. The festival benefits LeMoyne Arts and features original professional-quality artwork. Artists retain 100% of sales, and cash awards total $10,000+.
Requirements
Open to artists creating and executing original, professional-quality art for sale. All work must be produced by the exhibiting artist or an approved two-person team collaboration; proxies and sales representatives are not allowed. Detailed eligible categories include painting, two-dimensional mixed media, drawing, graphics, printmaking, photography, computer-generated work, and jewelry. Mixed media must incorporate more than one medium category, not simply two styles of the same medium such as oil and acrylic. Printmaking must comprise multiple originals; photography must use the artist's original source material; jewelry must be designed, created, and executed by the artist. Combinations of drawing, graphics, printmaking, photography, and computer-generated work are accepted. Submit three high-quality artwork images, a booth display photo, and a 500-character artist process statement describing techniques and hand-crafted details. A blind jury of 3–5 reviews by artist ID without the artist's name, considering originality, concepts, execution, consistency of style and presentation, and pricing. Image #1 will typically appear in the printed program. The application fee is $35, non-refundable. Selected artists pay $375 for a standard 10×10 booth, due January 8, 2027; limited double, corner, and priority-placement booths cost extra and are available first come. Setup is April 16, 2027: parks 8am–noon and streets noon–9pm. Show hours are Saturday 10am–5pm and Sunday 10am–4pm; breakdown is April 18 after 4pm. Awards include Best of Show $2,000, Award of Excellence $1,000, additional awards distributed by a weighted category system, and a voluntary Recycle Content Art Award of $300 open to all mediums; total cash awards are $10,000+. Artists retain 100% of sales. Top award winners are automatically juried into the following year's festival. Up to two onsite badges are provided per booth for the artist and one collaborator or associate.
