Capital Art and Craft Festival – December 2026

A juried indoor art and craft festival at the DTC Expo Center in Sterling, Virginia. Selected artists exhibit and sell handmade work during the December 11–13, 2026 festival after setting up on December 10. Applications are juried on a rolling basis until booth space or categories fill.

Applicants must be the creators of handmade art or craft. Buy/sell, kit-made, mass-produced, and pet-related items are excluded. Submit four work photos and one booth-display photo through Zapplication; the pictured work must match what is displayed, and items not in harmony with the application may not be displayed or sold. The non-refundable jury fee is $45. Booth options are 10' x 10' for $750, 10' x 15' for $1,125 (limited), and 10' x 20' for $1,450, with a limited $200 corner fee and larger spaces available in 10' increments. Booth payment is due within 15 days of invoicing and is fully refundable when requested by October 30, 2026; later cancellations incur a 100% cancellation fee. Artists have a full setup day on December 10, 2026 from 9am–7pm. Jury review is rolling until booth space is full, categories may fill, and accepting an invitation through Zapplication—not the invitation alone—secures booth space. Medium-specific restrictions include prohibitions on factory or mass-produced fiber, glass, clay, and food items; jewelry must be original and created without commercial molds, casts, or a production studio; photography must be signed prints from the artist's original negatives or artist-processed digital files; and printmaking must be hand-pulled original limited-edition work.
