Call for Public Art: Eastside Library Mural

Athens-Clarke County invites professional artists to submit qualifications for a mural in the main room of the new Eastside Library. The selected artist or team will work with stakeholders and government staff to create a mural that enhances the library experience and celebrates Athens' history, vibrancy, and community.

Requirements
Open to professional artists or teams age 18 or older who are legal residents of the United States. Athens-Clarke County Unified Government employees are ineligible. Original work must be created by the submitting artist(s), appropriate for all ages, compatible with the site, use Sherwin-Williams paint with a protective top coat, and require minimal maintenance.
