Call for Members
Fort Bragg, CA
The opportunity
Edgewater Gallery, an artist-owned collective in Fort Bragg, California, is accepting applications for new artist members to exhibit and sell fine art and craft. Members participate in operating the gallery, pay monthly dues, and complete a three-month trial period before potential full membership. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed the following month.
Requirements
Applicants must submit six images and answer the application questions; the submission section permits 6–10 pieces, only one entry per artist, files up to 50MB per image, and JPG or PNG files. Potential matches are invited to present their work in person and interview with gallery members. Artists voted in complete a three-month trial period and must receive another vote for full membership. Members must work in the gallery two to three days per month, attend one meeting per month, and help run the gallery. Members need not live on the Mendocino Coast but must travel to Fort Bragg monthly to meet these obligations. The gallery retains a 16% commission on sales. Monthly dues range from $80 to $150 depending on space size, and full members pay a one-time $250 membership fee. The page identifies the application as paid entry but does not clearly provide a definitive fee amount or structure in the detail text.
