Become a Tall Grass Artist 2026

Apply to become a juried Tall Grass artist. Successful artists are invited to participate in the annual fine arts fair held the third weekend in September in Downtown Park Forest, display work in the gallery twice a year, and include work in the Tall Grass Gift Shop. Accepted media include painting, drawing, sculpture, digital, mixed-media, installation, video, and other media.

Artists must be 18 years old. Submitted work must be original work created by the artist; mass-produced work is not allowed. Apply through Entrythingy (preferred) or email tallgrassexhibit@gmail.com using the subject line 'Jurying 2026'. The platform lists 6–8 pieces, a maximum of 8 entries per artist, a maximum file size of 1000MB per image, and accepted file types GIF, JPG, MOV, and PDF. The instructions separately require six images depicting six individual works, as high-resolution .jpg files approximately 5 x 7 at 300 dpi, no larger than 1.4MB per image; images should be sharp and accurate in color. Include a booth image, if available, if interested in the Art Fair. Include an artist statement describing the work, particularly the methodology. Artists seeking jurying in more than one medium should submit a separate application for each medium; one fee covers both applications. A single entry containing multiple media may be rejected. Email applicants must complete the jurying entry form and list image information in the same sequence as the email, using the artist's last name, first initial, and image number. The form may be emailed with the images or mailed to TGAA. The non-refundable jury fee is $35. Email applicants should mail the fee with their application, with checks payable to Tall Grass Arts Assoc.; credit-card payment can be arranged through the Gallery Office at (708) 748-3377.
