AtriumHealth Charlotte Gallery

Atrium Health seeks local and regional artists for quarterly exhibitions in the busy public lobby of its flagship hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. A selection committee chooses work offering a positive, welcoming distraction for patients and visitors. Selected artists display three pieces, with artist information and contact details shown alongside their work. Wall space accommodates paintings, and cabinets accommodate small sculpture, pottery, jewelry, and other accepted works.

Positive reflection focused on community, health, hope and healing.

Applicants must be at least 18 and reside, attend school, or work in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. Submission limit: one application. Submit clear images of 3–5 pieces, including your name, a brief biography, and the sizes and prices of each work. The application requires 3–5 images; audio and video are not accepted. Accepted forms are painting, drawing, photography, collage/mixed media, glass, pottery, small sculpture, and jewelry. Selected artists display three pieces. Proposals should inspire positive reflection focused on community, health, hope and healing; original, unexpected interpretations are encouraged. Submissions are accepted throughout the year, with this recurring quarterly schedule: first quarter submissions November 15–January 1, delivery by January 15, hanging by February 1, removal by April 30; second quarter submissions February 15–April 1, delivery by April 15, hanging by May 1, removal by July 31; third quarter submissions May 15–July 1, delivery by July 15, hanging by August 1, removal by October 31; fourth quarter submissions August 15–October 1, delivery by October 15, hanging by November 1, removal by January 31. Chosen works must be delivered to Atrium Health. The gallery also accepts optional donations for its permanent collection when space is available, displaying donated work in a high-volume area with the artist's profile and artwork description.
