Artist's Choice Art Contest

Grey Cube Gallery's sixth Artist's Choice online art contest takes place in November 2026. This open-theme competition welcomes artists worldwide over 18 working in all visual art mediums except video and sound. Winning artists receive digital award certificates, and Best of Show artwork appears on the show's poster. Accepted works receive online display, publicity, and promotion.

Open theme

Open to artists worldwide over 18 years of age. All visual art mediums except video and sound are allowed. Submit original work created by the artist; artworks containing pornographic or satanic content will not be considered. Images must show only the artwork, clear and in focus, in JPG format up to 2.0 MB, labeled Name of Artist - Title of Artwork. Include an artist statement; the form shows a 300-character limit. Complete required application information, including full name, email, statement, number of entries, and artwork information and uploads. Entry fees are $20 for 2 images, $30 for 4 images, $42 for 6 images, $50 for 8 images, and $60 for up to 10 images. Fees are non-refundable. Artists may submit more than once, with no limit on the number of entries per artist. Payment is through PayPal, with confirmation emailed after payment. Agree to the terms and conditions: submitted images may be used only for marketing, promotional, and display purposes for shows organized by Grey Cube Gallery; chosen artwork may be archived as part of the exhibition for public viewing on its website. Artists retain copyright; images on the site may not be reproduced or used without permission from Grey Cube Gallery and the relevant artist. All winning artists receive digital award certificates. Best of Show and first-, second-, and third-place winners receive prominent display with an article about the artist and their work; Best of Show artwork appears on the show poster. Merit and Honorable Mention awards may also be presented depending on submission number and quality. Accepted works are displayed with artist name, work title, and a website link or email address. Judging considers originality and quality, artistic ability, interpretation of the theme, creativity, overall design, and use of medium.
