ART MAKER MAGAZINE: ISSUE 6 - OPEN CALL + COVER PRIZE

ART MAKER Magazine invites artists worldwide to submit work for its sixth issue, themed OPEN. Selected artists receive a magazine feature and related digital promotion. One artist whose work is selected for the cover will conditionally receive $150 USD toward BLICK Artist Materials or an equivalent art-materials store in their country.

Applicants must be at least 18 and may apply worldwide. Submit 3–10 pieces, with only one entry per artist. Fees are tiered: $16 for up to 4 images or $24 for up to 10 images; fees are non-refundable, and an incorrect tier must be supplemented before the application is complete. Artists must provide an artist statement and bio. Images must be clear, well-lit, 300 dpi, and no larger than 50 MB each; accepted file types are JPG, MOV, MP3, and MP4. Video submissions must include a link and high-resolution stills, while installation submissions must include multiple views and/or detail shots. New work and corresponding work made during 2022–2026 are eligible. AI-created images, text, or objects and work copied from AI-generated imagery are ineligible, although AI used only for research or inspiration is permitted. Applicants attest that submitted art is original and that they own the copyright; commercial work is allowed only with the necessary permission or copyright ownership. The conditional cover prize is $150 USD toward BLICK Artist Materials or an equivalent store in the winner's country.
