ARCHITECTURE

An international juried photography contest from the New York Center for Photographic Arts seeking images exploring architecture and the built world, from complete structures to architectural details. Ten prizewinners share $4,000 in conditional cash awards: a $1,100 Grand Prize, three $400 First Prizes, three $325 Second Prizes, and three $250 Third Prizes. Prizewinners, 20 Juror Selections, and 20 Honorable Mentions are included in the online gallery and winners catalog and receive an award certificate.

Architecture and the built world

Open worldwide to amateur and professional photographers working in any medium, style, or school of thought, including print, image transfer, emulsion transfer, encaustic, black and white, and experimental or mixed techniques. Only two-dimensional work is eligible. Jurying is blind, so submitted images must have no signatures or watermarks and titles must not contain artist names. Images that received an NYC4PA prize within the past two years are ineligible; previously submitted images that were not selected may be resubmitted. An unlimited number of images may be entered. The tiered entry fee is $40 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image.
