Anything but...Plastic

Riverside Arts Center invites artists to submit work for a gallery exhibition challenging them to create with plastic-free materials. The call rejects materials such as acrylic paint, nylon thread, and Modge Podge while suggesting alternatives including egg tempera, wool, and wheatpaste.

Plastic-free art

Submitted work must use materials that remain plastic-free. Acrylic paint, nylon thread, and Modge Podge are identified as unacceptable examples, with egg tempera, wool, and wheatpaste suggested as alternatives. Artists do not need to make their own materials and may acquire them by any method as long as they remain plastic-free.
