Requirements

Open to artists of all nationalities living anywhere in the world. Entries must be the submitting artist's original work; generative AI is prohibited. Work must not have appeared on another publication's cover or be entered simultaneously in another contest or competition. Previously exhibited work, work published on the artist's website, and work published on interior pages of a book or magazine are accepted. Only one image per entry; unlimited entries are allowed, each requiring a separate entry form and fee. The artist's name must not appear on the artwork because judging is anonymous. Work produced within the last three years is preferred, not compulsory. Consulting or purchasing Anthology to understand its aesthetic is advisable, not required. Complete the online form, upload the entry and pay before submitting. Standard entry fee is €18 per submission for March 1–October 31, 2026; contact admin@anthology-magazine.com for group entry fees. Fees are non-refundable. Submit JPG, PNG or PDF files of no more than 4MB. There are no dimension restrictions, but artwork may be cropped to fit the 190 x 195mm cover space; winners must supply high-resolution images when contacted. Independent judges select prize winners and their decision is final. The winner receives €500, cover publication and editorial coverage; prize money is paid upon publication of the winning artwork. Artists retain copyright and warrant that rights of any kind to the image have not previously been sold or granted to a third party. All entrants consent to electronic image storage and private distribution for judging. The winner and finalists grant Anthology rights to use their images electronically or in print to promote Anthology and its Awards without restriction in any media. Anthology will credit artists and will not make high-resolution images available for download on its websites, but accepts no responsibility for unauthorized third-party use. Electronic files, prints and physical submissions will not be returned; Anthology accepts no responsibility for submissions in other forms. Submission and payment constitute agreement to the terms.
