Alliance for the Arts Call for Artists

We welcome all members of the Alliance for the Arts to submit one original work inspired by the theme ‘ Passage ’ for display in the main gallery throughout October 2026. This theme invites literal and abstract interpretations, encouraging artists to explore moments of transition, movement, and transformation. A passage may be understood as the flow of time: the quiet shift from one season to another or wrinkles forming on a face—changes that mark growth and loss. It may take the form of physical movement—a figure weaving through a crowded street or crossing thresholds, boundaries, halls, or doors. Passage can suggest emotional or psychological states: rites, moments of becoming, the space between where we stand and where we move toward.
