A one-month residency at the Newport Art Museum for emerging through established visual artists and designers. Residents receive private housing and studio space, access to the museum collection and archives, introductions to regional cultural institutions, and opportunities for public programming and community engagement.
Requirements
Open to artists based in the United States at any career stage. Applicants may apply as a team. Residents are expected to participate in public programming, give an artist talk or presentation, and lead a public workshop.
