Requirements
Open to emerging and established artists living in New England and students enrolled in New England universities. Each artist may submit one original two-dimensional work in painting, drawing, mixed media/collage, photography, or printmaking. The entry fee is $40, reduced to $30 for members of the Wellesley Society of Artists or Dedham Art Association. Artwork JPEGs must be cropped so no frame or mat appears and labeled with the artist's name and work title. Eighty works will be selected and will be eligible for over $2,500 in cash awards; this is a conditional award, not guaranteed participant compensation. Accepted work must be labeled on the back and dropped off January 9 or January 12, 2027, or shipped to arrive by January 15, 2027. Work must be picked up March 13 or March 16, 2027. Artists are responsible for reporting and paying applicable governmental fees, including sales tax.
