A Charles River Journey: 80 Artists, 80 Miles

A juried exhibition at the Dorothy and Charles Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, Massachusetts, inviting New England artists and students enrolled in New England universities to interpret the Charles River's landscapes, communities, recreational value and ecological importance. Eighty original two-dimensional artworks will be selected, representing the river's 80-mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston. Selected artworks are eligible for over $2500 in cash awards. Artists living in New England, both emerging and established, and students enrolled in New England universities may submit one original two-dimensional work. Accepted media are painting, drawing, mixed media/collage, photography and printmaking. Eighty artworks will be juried into the exhibition and eligible for over $2500 in cash awards. Entry fee is $40, or $30 for members of Wellesley Society of Artists or Dedham Art Association. Crop artwork JPEGs so no frame or mat shows; label the file with your name and the title of the work.
