Center for Book Arts’ Workspace Artist Residency will select up to four New York-based emerging and mid-career artists for keyholder residencies supporting experimentation in artists’ books and related work. The program provides space, time, educational and professional development, and financial support, with a focus on the book as a time-based artistic medium and cultural tool.

Requirements
Applicants must be New York-based emerging or mid-career artists. Artists from all disciplinary backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The program seeks a balanced cohort of experienced book artists and artists from other disciplines who demonstrate a clear interest in exploring book arts. Up to four artists will receive keyholder residencies supporting production and exhibition of artists’ books and related work.
