Vashon Artist Residency offers artists time, space and resources to reflect, create and connect on spectacular Vashon Island in Washington State, along the shores of the Salish Sea. Our self-directed residency welcomes artists at every stage of their creative practice. We are committed to making this opportunity as accessible as possible and intentionally cultivate a cohort of artists with diverse economic, cultural, geographic, and artistic backgrounds. We believe this diversity fosters a thoughtful, respectful and inspiring creative community.
